BRISBANE-raised songbird twins Lisa and Jess Origliasso are due to jet back into Sydney ahead of their ARIAs appearance on Sunday.
The Veronicas simultaneously announced their big national tour for February next year, coming to Brisbane on February 14.
The Revenge Is Sweeter tour comes on the back of a frenetic year for the pair, who've toured with the Jonas Brothers, Hanson and Natasha Beddingfield in the US.
"We've played some amazing shows across America over the past six months, but with all the surprises in store for our Revenge Is Sweeter tour, we think these shows are going to be our best yet," chirped Jess.
The Brisbane Entertainment Centre show will be the second on The Veronicas' tour, with the hometown venue the largest on the two-week schedule.
Mum and Dad Origliasso have moved in closer to town from Albany Creek, so they may not be seen around Westfield Chermside, but the pop tarts are expected to spend some time with the family.
The Veronicas will play at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on February 14, supported by Metro Station. Tickets through Ticketek.
It's been a year since their last Aussie shows but finally Lisa and Jess are hitting the road next Feb for a national tour!
The girls have conquered the charts with their album Hook Me Up, which has sold more than 150,000 copies and spawned killer pop singles like 'Hook Me Up', 'Untouched', 'This Love' and 'Take Me on the Floor'.
Now they're heading out on their 'Revenge is Sweeter' tour, supported by Metro Station (the lads behind the monster hit 'Shake It') and Short Stack.
Says Jess: "We're so excited about coming home to tour for our fans in February! We've played some amazing shows across America over the last six months, but with all the surprises in store for our tour, we think these shows are going to be our best yet."
